He Does Not Mind Carrying You
The shepherd left the 99 sheep in the fold
Because his heart was so heavy
For the lamb lost in the cold
He searched through the wilderness
And the valleys he did comb
Found him tangled in the thorns
Lifted him with his strong arms
Placed him on his shoulder
And rejoiced all the way home
And he does not mind carrying you
There is no burden too heavy
No valley too deep for him to walk through
He will search the highest mountain
Cross the burning desert too
He does not mind carrying you
Jesus came down to earth many years ago
Just to give himself a ransom
For the prisoners of the foe
He carried a heavy cross up to Calvary that day
Paid sin's debt that I owed
Crushed the head of my strong foe
Pulled me from the lion's mouth
And carried me safely away
And he does not mind carrying you
There is no burden too heavy
No valley too deep for him to walk through
He will search the highest mountain
Cross the burning desert too
He does not mind carrying you
