Noah "A Man of Example" Even in Times of Total Wickedness

Hebrews 11:7, Gen. 6:5-22; 7:1-5

 

We need fathers that can lead his family to follow God and serve him in sincerity.

 

He was an example of Faith

He was an example of faithfulness (120 years of building the Ark)

He was a man of firmness

He was an Example of following

 

What Kind of a Man was Noah?

 

A. He was a man who was attentive to voice and the command of God. (Being warned of God of things not seen as yet)

1. He was able to do the right thing

2. He was determined to finish what He started (More than 120 years of building the Ark.)

3. He was able to deliver his family from the coming danger.

 

B. He was a man of Accountability V. 11 (Moved with Fear)

1. He believed in God

2. He believed the Word of God.

3. He loved his family.

 

C. He was a man of Action

1. He Knows that the time was short

2. He knows that the work was very great

3. He knows that the judgment is real and it's coming.

 

D. He was a Man who hates and abhors evil/wickedness (By the which he condemned the world) (The word condemned means - denounce, wrong, guilty, dislike)

1. He Feared God

2. He wants to Please God.

 

E. He was a Man who was approved of God

1. He was considered as righteousness before God.

2. He walked with God when the world was against God (Total wickedness)

3. He did everything what the Lord hath commanded him what to do.
