ACTS 17:22-34
Several things that are common to us.
- We are all created by God.
Some people believe that they are the result of evolution, but still the facts remain that we are all created by God. Nothing exist in this world with out God. It is God who made the heaven and the earth, it is God who created the beast of the field, the fowls in the air, and the fish in the sea. It is God who created man and woman.
- All men and women are naturally religious.
All people are naturally religious but some lack of knowledge about God.
· Some worship God in a wrong way, some of them worship the creation of God because they don’t know really God is, they worship animals, the moon, the sun and other creatures.
· Some are worshipping their dead relatives by burning incense to their relatives or family members.
· Some worship their money, job, and the pleasures of these world. They give more time to these things rather than going to church and worship the God in heaven.
· Only few are worshipping the real and true God. The God of heaven and the Earth, the God who created the universe. The Bible says in John 4:24 God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in Truth (the Word of God).
- All men and women wants to be happy.
Anybody is looking for happiness or joy in their life. Some people are entering or joining to any pleasure in this world just to be happy, some of them are going to the bar, beaches, gambling, drugs, etc. just to seek happiness. But they were not happy because the real happiness or joy is only in the Lord Jesus Christ.
- All people are sinners. Romans 3:23
All of us are sinners. Romans 5:12 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” because of sin all of us will experience death. Hebrews 9:27.
- All men and women will have Salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ alone.
John 3:17, Acts 4:12, Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9-13.
Jesus Christ died for all of us but not all will be saved because only few will believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and only few will receive him as their personal savior.
If you are just going to repent of your sins and receive Christ as your personal savior the Bible says you will be saved.
If you are not yet saved, today is the accepted time today is the day of salvation, just repent of your sins and receive Christ as your personal Savior.
